Misdiagnosed

take a look at this one... yet another dark one :D

i walk along

only to find out

more about me than i even knew

they say there are ways to get even

but i dont know the truth

they have a magic pill for everything

but why make it bloom?

suppose one of these pills turned evil

a twisted shade of black

what then?

and say that the doseage was increased

what do you do to stop the flow?

say this increased pain led to everlasting harm

what could you say?

How would you turn back the clock

and prevent it from harming?

Why must parents find a way to

make it charming?

And suppose this person became deathly ill,

lay on their deathbed at age 23?

what would you say?

could you find a way to ease the pain,

or infilict more pain

when you think your doing well.

Why does our culture just do as they say?

Why must no one stand up for the right?

Is there no more sympothy?

Or did the greedy people find it?

Would this one soul have what it takes

to blow the lid off the whole operation?

Or inflict a deadly silence in those that

called him friend.

If you saw him on the street,

would you turn away from his disability?

or would you walk up to him and gladly state your name?

Could you hold the title of friend?

Or would you just wash it down with all the broken dreams?
